ITIL V3 - It’s Not Just About The Books!
With the impending release of ITILv3, there’s a side project that’s generating almost as much interest here at Pink - the alignment of the ITIL professional certification scheme with v3. From what I’m privy to at the moment it looks like the revised scheme will not only bring the examinations (and associated courses) inline with v3, but there’s also the opportunity to make improvements and enhancements to the quite limited scope of the v2 scheme. That’s interesting, and potentially exciting. At Pink we’ve been offering so-called “complementary education programs” for a number of years now. One of the most successful of which has been our ITIL Implementation Road Map event. It’s here that a team of our most experienced Executive Consultants walk you through the “how tos” of a practical IT Service Management Improvement Plan - according to the Pink Implementation Road Map. I hope those charged with developing improvements to the scheme seriously consider incorporating such an education & certification opportunity to go with the V3 release.
