Sing-A-Long With Commander Chris Hadfield!

If you've been to our annual conference before you'll know we like to have a little fun in amongst all the serious learning. This year will be no exception. One idea we've come up with should provide a bit of a thrill for a lucky Pink customer. Our opening keynote speaker is Commander Chris Hadfield, who gained worldwide recognition last year for his mission to the International Space Station. While he was there he recorded an out-of-this-world performance of David Bowie's ”Space Oddity” which has gone on to generate over 20 million views on YouTube. We're very fortunate that Cmdr Hadfield has agreed to reprise his Space Oddity performance at Pink14, and he's also graciously agreed to welcome one of our lucky attendees to accompany him! So if you can play Space Oddity on an acoustic guitar and would like to join Cmdr Hadfield on-stage — here's your chance: 1. Record a 2-3 minute audition video of your version of Space Oddity. 2. Post it to YouTube. 3. Tweet the link with the #Pink14 hashtag. We'll look at the “entries” and chose a lucky winner. How cool is that?!
